Historique :	Clavecin exécuté en 1624 à Anvers par Hans Rückers comme le prouve la date peinte sur la table d'harmonie. Arrivé en France sans doute avant 1680, il y subit différentes modifications de clavier afin de l'adapter à l'évolution de la pratique musicale ainsi qu'aux exigences de la littérature pour clavecin de François Couperin et Jean-Sébastien Bach. Le revers du couvercle est peint d'une scène représentant le concours de musique entre Apollon et Pan devant le roi Midas et est complété au 18e siècle par un somptueux piètement de type Louis XIV. Conservé depuis le 17e siècle au château de Condé-en-Brie, le clavecin est acheté en 1980 par le musée Unterlinden de Colmar (68) source : site internet du musée Unterlinden de Colmar.
