Historique :	Chaire à prêcher en chêne de Hongrie sculpté et taillé réalisée par la maison Biais Frères sur les dessins de l'architecte diocésain Paul Gout. Cette chaire développe un programme iconographique centré sur la prédilection dans le Soissonnais. Style néo-gothique. Inaugurée en 1903.

Précision_sur la representation :	Sur la cuve figure en ronde bosse le Christ entouré des quatre évangélistes (Mathieu, Marc, Luc et Jean) ouvrant le livre de l'Evangile. Les saints martyrs patrons du diocèse - saint Gervais et saint Protais, les premiers évangélistes de Soissons - saint Crépin et saint Crépinien, les premiers évêques - saint Sixte et saint Sinice, les deux reines et premières femmes catéchistes - sainte Clotilde et sainte Radegonde sont également représentés. L'abat-voix est couronné de fleurons, de deux anges sonnant de la trompette, d'une croix et de deux crosses épiscopales.
