Historique :	Elle offre une iconographie particulièrement originale avec sainte Anne tenant d'une main un livre et de l'autre la petite Marie tenant elle-même dans ses bras l'Enfant Jésus. Le thème de la sainte Anne trinitaire semble se confondre ici avec celui de l'Education de la Vierge. Son caractère populaire la rattache aux productions locales du Nord de la France. Elle a probablement été exécutée par un sculpteur local actif enThiérache. Elle faisait l'objet d'une dévotion populaire spécifique à  Vervins. La polychromie ne parait pas remonter au-delà  du 19e siècle.
